Not sure what to say?

Hi, Sis. Just web browsing and discovered that Carlton had passed. I thought maybe I'd find you on Facebook, or somewhere. I'm sorry to hear the news. Hope you are doing well. Guess you know that Campbell Johnson passed in 2019. Yeah, that's right --we are the older generation now. Best wishes, always.

I have already responded but I will always miss Carlton. I also send my best to Ladonna.

I and my deceased husband, Bill Ricker, played in the first Northwest Arkansas Summer Music Festival Orchestra program as well as the NW AR Symphony. Wonderful experience. I am forever grateful to Carlton for such a wonderful experience of a lifetime. My condolences to all his family, friends, colleagues, students, and loved ones. I was so saddened to recently hear the news of his passing. It is our loss. Fondly . . .

Just received word from Jim Woods about the passing of Carleton. My sincere condolences to Ladonna and family. I was married to Arthur Woods and Carleton was Arthur's nephew. Arthur died in 2010. I remember meeting Carlton once when we attended one of his performances. Love and prayers to all of you.

Just read the sad news of the passing of Carlton. I am taken back to the days of playing trumpet for him in the North Arkansas Symphony and some of the great literature we were presented with. Still playing today with the Fort Smith Symphony. I also look back to the days of baby sitting for Ladonna with my girlfriend, now wife of almost 32 years, Christine.
Our condolences to the family and prayers for continued comfort in the time of loss.
It will be five years this May that I...

I was the music director at KUAF radio, the NPR station at the University of Arkansas. Carl was my dear friend and we spent hundreds of hours together on the air. He was also my favorite conductor of the North Arkansas Symphony and the Music Festival of Arkansas. I will miss you, Carl!PJ Robowski
