Not sure what to say?

Allev vous a la gare ? I would always joke with her using that line. She and her husband came to my parents´ house in Red Hill many times with Saks, Hausmanns and McCormicks. She made homemade Chinese at her house one Valentine´s. sweet and sour pork. A very close friend of mine during Perk years and beyond.

Missing a lovely, lovely lady who opened her warm home to many who will never forget her kindness.

did not know of her death so sorry. tell rev thomas and family that i am so sorry to hear of her death. she was a very kind lady to me and helped me also to speak french dawn (hamilton) sickerott

I will never forget the kindness that Midge showed me as a student at Perkiomen School, and later when I returned as a teacher. Hanging out in "The Escape", inviting me to their beautiful home on Main Street, and sharing "teacher tips" are just a few of the fond memories that I have. George, my deepest sympathies and warmest thoughts are with you and the rest of the family.

Mrs. Thomas was one of the most inspiring, compassionate and inspiring women I have known in my life. I have thought of her many times during the course of my life. When my daughter picked up the violin as an instrument, I thought of Mrs. Thomas during every practice, imagining her smiling over my shoulder. My thoughts and prayers are with Chaplain Thomas and their family.

Oh, my goodness! What wonderful and fond memories I have of knowing Midge during my time at Perkiomen. Her kindness touched me deeply at a most difficult time of my life. What a lovely lady! My deepest sympathy to George and the family.

My deepest sympathies go to George and the two sons. Midge taught me a few things more than just French at Perkiomen. She taught me that I could be good at something as long as I made an effort. I happened to be good at French because I spoke it as a small child and she made it easy for it all to come back to my memory. Midge was one of the few teachers I had classes with at Perkiomen that made a lasting impact on my life. Midge- I will never forget you and your violin!! May you play for all...

And she is survived by many, many students grateful for her guidance and love.

I studied violin for many years under Mrs. Thomas. I remember her beautiful home in Pennsburg, the Japanese garden, and the many fascinating antiques in her home. She was such a wonderful teacher who taught me so much about the violin and life.
