D'ALTORIO CARMELA D'ALTORIO (nee Troiano), age 98. Beloved wife of the late Igino; loving mother of Carrie Troiano (Perry) and John; devoted grand-mother of Carolyn Chernick (Dale), Vincent Troiano (deceased) (Cheryl), Gene Troiano (Valerie), Elaine Hall (Michael), Francesca and Elena; great-grandmother of Monica Boomsma (Kyle), David Chernick, Jeanette Troiano, Mallory Chernick, Nicole Hall, Michael and Elyse Troiano. Possessor of an indomitable spirit, passed away Feb. 8, 2004. She will continue to be an inspiration to those whom she loved so greatly.
