Carmella Lou Capone, 74, of Saylorsburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono, East Stroudsburg, with her loving family at her side after a sudden and short illness.


Carmella was born July 23, 1945, in West Bangor, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Palma (Catino) Graziano.


Carmella worked at Valerie Fashions, Wind Gap and retired from A & H Sportswear in West Bangor.


Carmella will be missed by her loving husband of fifty years, Dale Capone.  The most treasured joys in Carmella’s life were her devoted son Nick and her loving granddaughter, Ashley.  Her time was devoted to caring and cooking for her family and she especially enjoyed helping Nick with yard work.


In addition to her husband, son, and granddaughter, she is survived by her sister Ann Hare, her sister-in-law, Beverly and her husband Troy Wilson, Sandra and her husband Donald Kay, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by a sister Marie Pezzuto.


A memorial service to celebrate Carmella’s life will be announced at a later date.  The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.  On line condolences may be offered at www.ruggierofuneralhome.com.

Carmella always had a smile and good things to say when I saw her. Asking how our family was. It's been 15 years since we moved to Texas, and haven't seen her since then. Nick, always was really fond of you, too. So sorry for your loss.
