I knew Carmella at first from opening the Paris Hotel/Casino. Afterward we became friends up until her passing. Carmella was a deeply spiritual woman and a devout Catholic. She loved animals. She looked out for and cared for cats in her neighborhood for years. She was very into the Boy Scouts and always supporting and helping them everyway she could.
