I can't belive it's been a year since the passing of this remarkable women ,people with such beauty and kindness never die and her light will always shine bright. Rest in Peace Carmen.

It was a pleasure to get to know Carmen initially as a loving mother to my friend and colleague Carmela and as a loving wife and life companion to Al. Then, when good fortune shined upon them, it was pure joy to see Carmen advance so fiercely and powerfully the Latinx causes and organizations so dear to her and Al and to fight to for a greater focus on Latinx causes in philanthropy nationally. You will be missed Carmen. May you rest in peace.
