Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Mrs. Carmen L. Gomez, 96 years young, of San Antonio passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her husband Frank Gomez, and numerous siblings. She is survived by her children: Sergio Gomez (Diana), Hector Gomez, Richard Gomez (Lourdes), Albert Gomez (Yvonne), and Carlos Gomez; sister, Consuelo "Chelo" Chapa; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 12, at 4:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, October 13, at 8:30 A.M. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
