Not sure what to say?

Carman, on the anniversary of your death I just wanted to speak it into the atmosphere that you are and will forever be loved. By now, Mamma Grace Nowlin, Mary Bell Griffin, Mary Knox and Lou Ann McClendon should have all joined you in heaven. As always, you are the guardian, the matriarch so keep that group in line. I know in my heart all of you are in heaven organizing everything. Carmen, you were such a good friend and NARBW truly misses you.

Carman was known as our Godmother of NARBW. She will be missed greatly. I will miss seeing Carmen at the National Conventions she was a hugger. Always greeting you with a hug. Love & blessings to her family in their loss.

Carman was an excellent National President. Not only was she an excellent mentor but she always had an exciting air about her. She will truly be missed and I am glad to have had her friendship. My heart goes out to her family for their loss. With love, Barbara Barthle

WHEN I FIRST MET CARMEN, THERE WERE STILL DISTRICTS AND WE HAD SPRING AND FALL DISTRICT CONFERENCES. SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE AND WAS SO DEDICATED TO NARBW. SHE WAS A GREAT LADY AND LOTS OF FUN TO BE WITH. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

I have missed Carmen at the conventions. She was a really nice person.

Carmen was a long-standing member and active supporter of The National Association of Railway Business Weomen and affectionately known to some of us as "The Godmother." She will be missed.

We affectionately called Carmen "Godmother" and she was just that. She mentored us by leading and directing us in her special way. She was a champion of the National Association of Railway Business Women and I am proud to have known her. She will be missed by all of us. My sincere heartfelt condolences to her lovely family and friends. Sandy Hall, Jacksonville, Florida

My sincere sympathy to Carmen's family. As a member of the NARBW I will always remember her for her kindness and leadership.
