Carmenzette H. Moten peacefully entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Beloved wife of Clarence J. Moten. Loving mother of Raymond R. Moten, Angela Moten Muhammad, and Kim S. Moten. Daughter of the late Willie Hampton and Rita Lilly Bellock Hampton. Granddaughter of the late Clara and Edward Bellock. Sister of Tierney Shellmire, Edward (Tyesha) Shellmire, Willie (Natachia) Hampton, Joseph Hampton, Lionel Hampton, Shelia (Carl) Johnson, Clara Hampton, and the late Annette Hampton; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Age: 58 years, a native of Harvey, LA and resident of Marrero, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Wal-Mart are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1419 Fourth St. Westwego, LA on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00a.m.
Pastor Woodrow Hayden, officiating
Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
Interment: Holy Hill Cemetery-Harvey, LA
