Every year, my heart hurts knowing you are no longer on this side of living. When I first heard, I teaching and everyone kept asking why I was so sad. I said I am not sad. When I got home the caregiver I trained called me and shared the tragic news. I just went and my sadness left my being. Today I understand that it was Carmina saying goodbye. We were shocked but very grateful that Benita told us of the tragic deaths of Elena and her family. Elena and I worked closely together in Naval Intelligence - she was simply one of the finest, I had the pleasure of knowing well
