Read MoreI am saddened to read Carmine's obituary so many years after his passing. He was truly a gifted and talent, though kind and gentle, giant in his field and as a person. Thank you, Carmine, for the kindness you always showed me and my children as we visited our favorite, Jesse Jones Park. It has been an honor to know one who has made a life well lived.

I was sorry to hear of Carmines passing , a great friend to me and I will always remember with much love and affection the kindness both he and Mary Lou gave to me . We were neighbours when I lived in Houston and we shared a love of nature and cats. You will be greatly missed and thanks for lightening up our lives , Sadly Missed , Cathy ., and all your friends in England .
