Not sure what to say?

I met the lovely, wonderful and beautiful Carol only about three years before she died; at exercise in the park. I think, form the very moment I met her, I knew I wanted to be on her friend list. Not just an acquaintance. and I did become one of her MANY friends.I think we are all special, but Carol was just such a huge combination of : smart, caring, kind, funny, loyal, sincere....a totally REAL person,..making other folks feel good, elegant .organized...wonderfulllll sense of humor.!!! I do...

Holding Carols wonderful being and warm laugh in my heart. I feel so grateful that we connected again and got to share some lovely time together! I send love to Kathy!

By sheer coincidence, I was speaking this very morning, March 26, 2020, by telephone with another Burlingame High School classmate of Carol's. Carol was part of our conversation. Carol was a close friend and classmate of Karen McKenzie and her mother, Wilma. Wonderful women all, I'm fortunate to have known them over quite a span of time. Carol was always smart, quick, blessed with charm and a great sense of humor. Like you, I can't believe it's been ten years since her passing ... it's more...

I worked with Carol many, many years ago at Yellowstone National Park --- in our youth. What a fun, great gal she was. I have seen her very rarely in the past several years. I wish I had kept up the contact as everyone time I would see her I would think how wonderful she is. She will be in my prayers. Carolyn Stemmy Woods, Foster City, CA

Carol and Annie (2004)

Carol Alexander has been a blessing in my life for over 30 years. We met at a Women's Center workshop and immediately became friends. Though our relationship was GU (she in Burlingame; me in San Rafael), she became my friend, my teacher/mentor, and my landlady (I stayed with her when I worked in Foster City). Our lives connected and re-connected over the years in wonderful ways. I have many wonderful memories that I will always cherish. Carol will always have a special place in my heart....

I met Carol about five years ago at exercise in the park. From the very first time we ever spoke, I knew that I wanted her for my friend.

So many adjectives that one could ascribe to Carol. I think, for me, I would say she was an eminently Real Person!I miss her more than words can say.

I will always cherish my fond memories of Carol.

I will always remember Carol under the oak tree at Annie's celebration. Her lovely face, radiant in the dappled light. "we must have a family reunion," she said. Our families were so close. Memories abound - the house on Highway Road, DI 3-6871, always a hive of activity, was a child's wonderland. I first knew Carol as a dear little girl with pigtails, freckles and a winning smile-a little sister. She was curious and thoughtful, taking time with decisions, careful with her choices.

I only knew Carol a short time but she was certainly an inspiration. I met her through my friend, Jean Tinelli. The last time we three were together was New Year's Eve at Jean's lovely home, along with some other great ladies. I wish I had known Carol longer.
