Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed my chats with Carol as I made my frequent walks past her lovely garden. She was always full of wit and the "latest" news in the community. My condolences to her family.

Carol had a great sense of humor. I will always remember her friendship and support during my early years of teaching at Five Oaks.

I have many fond memories of Carol who mentored me as a young teacher at Five Oaks. We grew to be fond colleagues and I know she will be missed!

My sympathy to the family,

Sue Ann Higgens

I have many fond memories of Carol when we were colleagues at Five Oaks Middle School in the early '90's. She was often uproariously funny. She brought much-needed honesty, levity, and spontaneity to many situations. I have a treasured memento from our time together in the English Department.

Dear Sarah, Kurt, and Fred,
I think of you all the time, and remember the last time I saw Carol at Frances' ballet program, and all the birthday parties we shared together. I always enjoyed talking to her about babies and Frances especially. My love to you all. See you soon.

Andy and Sarah,

I ran into your mom 10 years ago at the Horticultural Program's plant sale at Clackamas Community College and we talked of the Robert Gray years/kids for what seemed like hours. It had been twenty years since I had last seen her, and yet, she remembered so much about me and my family. She radiated such warmth and care. And was covered in dirt. It is still one of my favorite memories of your mom.

Fred, I just want you to know that Crystal Springs will never be the
same without Carol. She is sorely missed! Her touch is everywhere
from all the ferns she acquired for us from Berry Botanic to all the
hardy gardenias she had us plant last fall. She definitely will always
live on in that garden. With love, Sonie Selzer

Sarah --

I think of you all the time. Your mom is so much on my mind as I think of how gentle and funny she was...and IS because I can still feel it now. I love you!
