My deepest condolences to the Batdorf family. I have great memories of Ann (my good friend in jr & senior high) inviting me to stay the night and how welcome and gracious her mother was to me. A surprise 16 th birthday party for me also happened in the Batdorf home. Opening their home to a foreign exchange student. Truly welcoming. Peace & comfort.

Dear Joe and children and grandchildren, With a heavy heart I am writing this and I can only imagine how all of must feel when you had to say goodbye to you very dear wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very dear friend when we lived in Grand Blanc and many of her children were classmates of our children. Her heart and door was always open to all of us. Her music gave joy to everyone.
