Dear Carol and Carol's family,
I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I know it is a tremendous loss to this family. Jody, you and I were long-ago friends, and I send special condolences to you in the loss of your mother. Your mom was a special, special lady. How she stepped in to lift me up in the loss of my mom - now 35 years ago - still reverberates mightily in my life. In fact, I expect she changed its course. To Carol's family,
I just learned of Carols passing through a friend and wanted to pass along condolences and blessings as I as well as many who worked with the McDaniel Tichenor house in Monroe came to know her and Joe and admire and love them both greatly. Though I live in Colorado I always enjoyed Carol as she was such a great host as well a gracious lady.
