I am devasted by Carol's death. Carol has been a part of my life for more than 40 years, thru all kinds of adventures (some good/some not, lots of them just plain, old silly). She was a wonderful friend & she will always be in my heart, along with all of our Camp Gold Hollow sisters. My heart breaks for David & the Pellegrini's. I hope you will always remember the great times; that Carol was a joy and a treasure. I hope all of us realize how important we are to one another and the passing...

After reading all of our entries I decided that I want to honor Carol in some way with a memory in Camp Fire USA. Camp Fire Will be 100 years old in 2010 and with that we will be finding our alumni and for those who have died creating a WoHeLo Wall. If you wish to be part of Carols Camp Fire Legacy please contact me and I will send you the information. It is a tribute to those who have helped to build our heritage. Our Council will be reading the names on the National Mall in 2010. ...

Carol will be missed. Some of my fondest memories of being in Rainbow involve Carol and the gang at Grand Assembly in 1969. Even though we fell out of touch once we received our Majority from Rainbow her memory will always live in my heart and make me smile.

My heart broke when I read of Carol's passing. I think we were in every class from 7th to 12th grade together. She was a joy and I know she's making the angels very happy. God bless you all and keep you strong during this time of sadness.

My deepest sympathy to Carol's family and friends... nearly 40 years ago we were counselors at Camp Gold Hollow, along with Caroline Newman who we also lost. This has brought back long forgotten memories -- our deepest discussion at camp was her beautiful hair and how to change ours to hers. We'll all remember her.
