I was saddened to hear of Carol's death. My sincere sympathies go out to her entire family.
As a way of background, my wife Annie and Carol met at the 2nd Field Hospital in Munich, Germany in October of 1964 as they were both having a baby. In the following months the four of us socialized on a regular basis.
