I was saddened to hear of Carol's death. My sincere sympathies go out to her entire family.
As a way of background, my wife Annie and Carol met at the 2nd Field Hospital in Munich, Germany in October of 1964 as they were both having a baby. In the following months the four of us socialized on a regular basis. After leaving Germany, we stayed in contact mostly at Christmastime although there were a couple of visits to Dallas.In 2009 as Annie was dying of cancer, Carol made sure to contact...
