Not sure what to say?

Carol Ann was my very dear friend during our years at Grainger High School, and was my roommate at UNC-G in Greensboro. We shared so many stories through the years, sometimes laughing and sometimes crying together. I was thrilled that she married Lon Carruth, her high school sweetheart, because I knew how much they loved each other. Carol Ann was a beautiful, loving, and smart lady! My life was enriched because of our friendship! Billie Spruill Best

I remember Carol Ann from grammar school. She was always a fun playmate and a positive person. I can't remember her being any other way. I always liked and respected her and do miss her. We need more like her.

Carol was always a sweet, caring person. We grew up together. She was smart and beautiful in every way.

Sorry for the loss. She will be missed by so many people whose lives see had touched. Our prayers are with you and your family. Ron and Connie Campbell

So sorry for your loss. She was my fifth grade homeroom and Language Arts teacher at Southwood and I loved her. She was such a sweet person and a good teacher. May you be comforted in the knowlege that she is not suffering any longer and is in a better place.

Dear Lon, Michael, Erin, and family, Carol Ann was my childhood neighbor, high school and college beloved friend, and a beautiful person in every way. We shared the good times and the stressful times together at UNC-G. I will never forget her sense of humor and loving ways. Love and prayers to you all, Billie Spruill Best

Carol Annn and her family were our next door neighbors growing up on Terminal Street. Though we lost touch over the years, I will always remember her gracefulness, beauty, and kindness. I miss her just knowing she's not on this earth any longer. May God keep you wrapped in his comfort and love.

Dear Lon and Family, Hyman and I are thinking of you and praying for you. We are so sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
