I remember meeting Carol at the Race for the Cure years ago. And after that, every time we would bump into each other at a race, she would always greet me like a long-lost friend. She was a warm and positive person, and she will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Carol's family and friends.

Carol was and will always be a true light in this world. Always positive and shining. I met Carol in 2008 when training for the Boston Marathon for Teddy’s stroke team. We also shared our love for Geneva where we had both lived. She was a true inspiration not only in her running but how she lived her life. Her positive attitude and positive words will stay with me forever. Deepest condolences to her family. God speed Wonder Woman ❤

Carol was such an amazing connector of people. She made an positive impact on those she met and left this world a better place. I will miss her. My condolences to her family and many friends and admirers.

What a wonderful tribute . I met carol at Adelphi in 1981 and she was my teammate on the xc ,track team . One thing not mentioned was she was one of the top race walkers in the country as competed a the millrose games during her college years . I lost touch but caught up with her few years ago running in Boston training for the Boston marathon. My condolences to her family and her fight and attitude should be something we all can learn from . RIP CAROL MY AU PANTHER TEAMMATE
