Carol Cooper, 72, of Independence, Va., and formerly of Rugby, Va., died on Thursday, January 22, 2009. Memorial service 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va. The Family will be receiving friends one hour preceding the service.
