Carol Deters-Bogema

I remember Carol well back to the days she was married to E J Deters. Further, she was the instigator for me leading the fight to get women the vote at Immanuel Chr. Ref. Church in Hudsonville. After the death of E J, she wrote the consistory of Immanuel saying if she wasn't the head of her home, who was? That plus the fact that I had just studied equal protection of the law in law school motivated me to fight for women's right to vote at Immanuel.

I am sorry for your loss but know my grandmother, her sister Helen, welcomed her with open arms.

I will always remember Carol by her smile and kindness. She was a sweet person. My prayers go out to the family. She is in such a better place.
