With great sorrow, I learned from the internet of the passing of my both beloved teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Dickinson. Both of them taught me English back in the sixties in Saudi Arabia. They were both warm and caring. They will be warmly remembered by all of their students. My deepest sympathies for their family.

Carol Dickinson was gift to metro Denver's art scene. I didn't know her when she was the Rocky Mt. News'art critic but admired her talents as director of Foothills Art Center. She had an artist's eye, a writer's gift for words, and a generous, warm personality. I feel very privileged to have known and worked with her as a volunteer at the arts center in Golden. Oh, how we'll miss her.

Carol was a star-gazer. Her visions were translated into reality in a way few could match. The disease controlled her body, but never her mind.

Carol was a gem in every way - kind, compassionate, funny, brilliant and a joy to know. I worked at the Foothills Art Center during the 12 years she was Director. They were some of the best years of my life and Carol was a big part of why. She was loved by many and will be missed forever.
