I had my first visit to the cafe on 4/10 unaware of the tremendous loss. I have to say it was an honor to have been there on that sad day. I only wish had met Carol Fay. God be with you!

I got to meet her last August when I came to Franklin to visit my sister from Georgia. Miss Fay was very gracious in posing for a picture with me. Her smile lit up the room! She was so sweet and will be missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Miss Carol Fay, I was traveling through on my way back to Wisconsin a while back. We had a great talk over at the Cafe, and you treated me with the kindness of a long time friend. I just want you to know that you all have been in my thoughts and prayers.I am sorry i am unable to be with you in person but I am with you in spirit and heart. Tears still flow from my eyes but God is who HE is. I shall miss my cousin and her warm , funny sense of humor. She touched many lives and will be missed. I can't imagine the Loveless Cafe without Carol, she was very kind to me at a very a very difficult time in my life and I'll never forget her. Everytime I think of her I see her dancing in that kitchen while she cooked and laughed. The woman knew how to laugh! I know she will be greatly missed.
