My deepest condolences to the Hollister and Farley family. I feel honored to have known Carol Farley as a 5th grade teacher and colleague at Hamlin School. I remember her sense of humor, love and joy of reading great books in the library.

Every week she would enter the library with her students and sit on the floor with a circle of students leading engaging conversations around her favorite books as they gave their weekly oral book reports.

Ms. Farley's passion for teaching...

As my 5th grade teacher at Hamlin, Ms. Farley inspired my love of reading, and I am grateful for this gift from her.

I remember getting to know Carol when I was a rookie teacher at Hamlin and thinking that I wanted to be as affectionately connected to students as the always was. Thanks for the inspiration, Carol, and love to her daughters.

Always smiling and lovely -
God bless you all

Carol was so gracious and loving to so many girls and teachers like me at Hamlin. She always made people feel a part of her community. What a great teacher and person-Ted Saltveit
