Ma,

Today I will carry you to your final resting place with a pride and respect deserving to one I love. You will not feel one bump and my strength will come from all the love and cooking of fine food you gave. If I do stumble I know I will have a slight wind on the back of my head and I will know that loving breeze. You are at peace and we will miss you dearly.

God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not meant to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered come with me
With tearful eyes we watched you
As we saw you pass away
Although we love you deeply
We could not make you stay
Your golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

i miss you already and i love you more than words can say <3 rest in peace mami
