Read MoreI had many conversations with Carol over the years after she moved to the Pine St Appartments. She would be sitting on her balcony feeding the feisty squirrels of the neighborhood as I walked by with my dog. I suspect that she fed the skunks in the neighborhood too... but we'll save that story for another time. I will miss our conversations about everything from world affairs to the weather.

Carol was my mom's best friend for many years. She even babysat me more than 55 years ago when I was a preschool boy. She was a devout Christian woman who was very devoted to her family. My condolences to Kevin and Don. May she rest in peace.
