Not sure what to say?

My memory of Carol, was sitting out in front of a house, in the early AM, "waiting for the sale". Carol impressed me most, because when she dropped into the "Estate Sale " world, she was as hard core, as any of us who had been doing it for years, which was somewhat unusual, not at all hesitant to sleep in her car, if that's what it took. Always a fun chat with her and her two worlds, her estate sale friends and her society world of East Grand Rapids/Ada. She was always fun, no matter how...

Shannon,
You and your family remain in our thoughts and prayers. We so enjoyed getting to know your folks after moving into River Oaks - a truly amazing couple!
With deepest sympathy,
The Lievenses

Precious Growneys,
We are so deeply sorry for the pain of loss you have suffered this year... and now even more as you have had to say goodbye to this another precious one. Yours is such a special loving, giving family, and we know that you will strengthen and support each other. We add our empathy for your loss to that support. God bless you each one and continue to strengthen the love you have for each other and deepen and enrich the bonds of family, friendship and love that you...

Jay, Shannon and Sean I am so sorry for your loss. When I was talking to June yesterday, she used the word Regal to describe your Mom. The perfect way to describe her. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for the loss of your Mom, Jay! She finally defeated the dreaded disease she suffered from and is at peace now, along with your father.

Shannon, Jay, and Sean. I am so sorry for your losses over the past year.

Joe Sage

My sincere sympathies to all of Carol's children and grandchildren, who undoubtedly have treasured her for good reason. She could light up a room, brighten any gathering, add charm to all conversations and provide grace and beauty to each event she participated in. And she remains thus in the memories of all who knew her and Jim. Rest In Peace.

I recall the first time I met Carol. It was at a hospital function held in the Breton Village shopping center in 1974. She was indeed a beautiful, vivacious woman, and she and Jim made a most attractive couple. I admired them both. It is sad that she is gone, but considering her medical status perhaps it is a release. She and Jim are now together. I regret that I can not be present to pay my last respects, but I am in CO for the winter and want to extend my sincere condolences to her...
