Not sure what to say?

Althea was an inspirational person. Her life was an example of a life well lived. She was the best example I know of someone who was both an exemplary family person and also citizen of the world. Her life's influence extends past her own life through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and also her own actions involving social justice and personal responsibility. What a privilege to have known her. I am so sorry for your family's loss.

To the family of Ms. Carol Althea Halvorson. I am so sorry for your loss. Ms. Halvorson was blessed with 98 years of being especially strong. (Psalms 90:10) May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of time spent with her as you remember a life well lived. May the Hearer of Prayer give you strength and peace in your time of sorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear that Althea is gone. She was a beautiful person and I have fond memories of her and all the Raleighwood neighbors.

I knew Althea and Sig through my parents, Jim and Maggie Claflin, who both died at age 85. They were all friends with the Leavens's, Vennewitz's and others in their bridge group. They all had good times together and set good examples for all us kids. Peace to her family.
