Dear Sue and Family I was sorry to hear of Carol's passing. My deepest condolences to you all. She was always talking about her wonderful family. I had the good fortune to meet Carol through her association with the McKenzie Institute. I admired her many skills, wonderful personality, deep sense of caring and ability to make everyone feel special and important to her. We shared fun and adventures when we could including walking, snow shoeing, kayaking and finding a good meal. I am blessed...

Sue and family, I´m so sorry for your loss. I initially met Carol at a continuing education conference and then served on the McKenzie Institute USA board of directors with Carol. There were many years that I taught Mckenzie courses at St Vincent´s hospital in Staten Island. I always looked forward to those courses more than any other because I would usually meet up with Carol to catch up and have dinner. She was a great woman and will be missed.

Dear Sue and family, I am terribly saddened to have just learned about Carol's passing. I have been ever grateful for Carol's friendship and her remarkable, trend-setting service on The McKenzie Institute USA Board of Directors years ago. As so many have said, we all learned so much from her intellect, kindness, generosity, and heart in all she endeavored. The heavens are truly richer for this angel to have ascended, although way too soon. With love and deepest sympathy, Stacey

I met Carol at a disability insurance conference many years ago. It was so easy to connect with her on a personal and professional level. We maintained contact while I was in the industry and she was always open to offering her wisdom and perspective and was open to different points of view. I am saddened to learn of her passing and my heart is with her family and those close to her. Sincerest condolences.

My Carol, a dear friend and fellow team member of Moore Catholic basketball team. When I was a freshman at Moore Carol looked out for me me cause I was the only freshman on the varsity team and she was an upper classman. I loved her smile , her laughter and the most genuine kindness I had ever seen. I know you are in a better place , watching over all us. A special guardian angel . Rest easy my friend Sharon

Carol was a great next door neighbor. She was one of my go-to´s for advice when I was growing up. Enjoy Heaven.

Carol was a leader and pioneer, but most importantly she showed she cared about you. She made you feel like you were her priority at that time and focused on you. I'll remember her wanting to know how I was doing before worrying about the business to be discussed. She brought me into the ACSM volunteer mold and mentored me initially. Recently we revisited those days over email, and she was encouraged that her initial ideas were being discussed again. She'll be able to see them come to...

Carol was as a strong a disability advocate and leader as the industry has ever seen. She will be missed by so many but her legacy is one to be cherished.

On behalf of the Moving To Value Alliance, we send our condolences and deepest sympathies to Carol´s family. She was so passionate, kind and caring about patients - such true love and concern for others. We will miss her dearly.
