Sis. Hughes was my first Sunday School Teacher when I rededicated my life to Christ and joined Mt. Olive in 1980. I will always remember her smile and that unique "laugh". Most of all I will remember her love for and knowledge of the Word. She truly exercised the
"gift" that God had given her!!! I will keep all of the family in my prayers.

Mrs. Hughes has inspired and encouraged so many. She was the epitome of a loving wife, caring mother and special grandmother. She had a homongous heart and was always giving of herself. I will always remember her warmth and kindness. Praying for her family at this difficult time.

I have wonderful memories of attending Sis. Hughes' Women's Sunday School Class at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a warm and skilled educator, whose class always left you feeling encouraged and ready to face the week ahead. Her inspiration and lessons will live on in the hearts and minds of many. My thoughts and prayers are with Rev. Hughes, Bobby, Gina and her loved ones.
