HUGHES, Carol Ann - Of Flint Township, age 68, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at home with family present.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute.
Visitation 3 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carol was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 28, 1949, the daughter of the late Paul and Jane Lundmark.
She was active with the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute as a volunteer.
She worked at Hurley, Genesys, and in home healthcare as a physical therapist for almost 45 years.
Surviving are children, Michael Hughes, Jennifer Bassett;
grandchildren, Devin Hughes, Ella Hughes, Addie Hughes, Kayla Bassett and Nick Bassett;
sister, Leslie Lundmark.

Carol was a wonderful woman and I feel lucky that my family and I got to know her and spend many lovely holidays together. She will be missed. Our hearts go out to Mike, Jennifer, Devin, Ella, Addie, Kayla, and Nick.
