Not sure what to say?

Carol Ann was one of my roommates the last two years of college at the University of Montana. During that time we both studied sociology. We were graciously hosted at the ranch in Ovando with her parents, and we were also graciously hosted by her brother Jerry's family on some of the weekends. We've stayed in touch each year through our Christmas cards and letters, and on occasion when we visited Helena, we would meet at a restaurant and catch up on our lives. Carol was our neighbor and we would often see her walking her dog by our turnoff. My husband stopped to help her the day she fell and broke her hip. She was in so much pain but was more worried about her dog being by her on the road. Joanne Chambers told us today that Carol had a stroke. We are so sorry to hear the news. Ellen and Wayne Allen

Carol Ann was my cousin and she lived with my family while going to high school in Missoula 1961-1963. We were the same age and were pals. She grabbed ahold of life and didn´t let go. I have many warm and funny memories of our times together in Missoula and At the ranch in Ovando. Rest in peace my dear friend. Sharon Durrant Gordon.
