My deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire Kaifes family. I grew up knowing Mrs. Kaifes and she was always very warm and welcoming. I have great memories from grade school when Mrs. K would always smile and make all the kids feel so special. What a great family! Coach, Carrie, Kent, Otto, Gregg, Kurt, Eric, I know these times are difficult, but just remember the great times you had with you wife and mom. There are a lot of people that have those fond memories of her as well.

Mrs Kaifes was a constant presence during my time as a student at St John the Baptist. I will always remember her as being kind, friendly and warm. She was a wonderful lady and a overall, great person. To Mr Kaifes, Kent and the the rest of Kaifes family, you have my deepest sympathies during this time.

Sending our thoughts and prayers to the Kaifes family in memory of Carol. Her son Kurt and I played sports together at KU and have kept in touch throughout the years. Our mothers also shared the same first name. May she rest in peace.
