I am deeply saddened by the death of my lovely friend. Carol and I were inseparable in our teen years, the best of friends. We made cookies and forgot the flour! Her mother laughed at us! Thank you for the lovely tributes. The memorial service yesterday was awesome!. Carol would have enthusiastically approved. The owners and staff at The Blue Marlin went above and beyond, organizing catering and even a live band to play. We rocked the afternoon away in the warm sunshine. Andrew Schmidt played several Anne Murray tributes and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. And then out came the water guns. All guests were given a pansy to take home and plant in memory of Carol. Carol, we are so sorry to hear about your passing....I just heard about it an hour ago...If I had known we would have been at your memorial..Norm and I shared so many good times and laughter with you and have thought about you so often over the past few years.
