Not sure what to say?

Certainly miss her smile and love. So happy we were able to know her and that I was able to help her with her career. Most important we became closer to Koop. Love to the entire family

I knew Carol during my childhood years and the last time I saw her will be 42 years, in 3 months. When my younger sister graduated Seton Hall Law school in Piscataway, New Jersey, I was playing pool at the Holiday Inn bar and reflected back on the memories of her and her family. Carol, the song "Black Velvet" was dedicated to you. May you rest in peace and safe hands with the Lord Jesus. I myself will look forward to seeing you between the years 2050-53, or better yet, 3 years following that....

I only knew CJ for a few years, she was my neighbor, fellow gardener and her love of life and God's earth were inspirational.I will miss her and will think of her every time I am digging in the earth, harvesting basil and always when thanking God for blessings in my life.CJ was one of the best women I have ever known.

Our deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of taking a painting class with Ms Koop through an event at school. She was very kind and passionate and loved to teach. God bless her.

What a beautiful soul. We will miss Carol deeply! God's blessings and peace on all of you.

We loved her very much. So soory for your loss. All our love the O'Brien's

My condolences to the Koop and Oberschmidt families on the passing of Carol (CJ). It saddens my heart to know that her bright smile has been extinguished and the light she brought to those who knew her is no more. Rest in peace, Carol. You will be missed.

I knew CJ through her work with St. Mary's Social Justice Ministry. She worked tirelessly to help those in need and was a kind, caring woman with a beautiful spirit. My condolences to her family.
