Carol Lefson Kronus

Carol was my sociology professor for research methods at the University of Illinois, circa 1973. Her approach was to have all of us learn research by doing research. The class constructed a survey, administered it to a student sample, and analyzed the results (stacks of computer punch cards - do not fold, spindle or mutilate)! My heart is full at the news of Carol's departure. As a member of the Ballroom Community in Asheville, Sid and Carol were a delight. Often they participated in my classes, they attended parties at my studio, and then recently supported the Asheville Ballroom. I shall hold in my heart so many memories of watching her dance.
