Not sure what to say?

John,

Although we had not been in touch with you and Carol during recent years, Alfred and I remembered our good times with Carol in Southern California and our meeting with the two of you in San Francisco one weekend years ago. She was a good friend, a great person, and we shared many happy moments together. Gail Q. and we are still in Southern California. Hope to see you down our way sometime soon!

John,
Our signing of the guest book is long overdue, but our thoughts and prayers for you have been and are ongoing.

John: My thoughts are with you during this time of great loss. I know you and Carol were quite a team.

Jan & I are so very sorry. You are and will be in our prayers.
Carol was so very supportive of our struggles with cancer. I'm so pleased we we able to join you on the cruise and spend some time with her.

I am grieved to lose such a wonderful mentor and friend and will miss her guidance to me over the several years I knew her but what I will miss the most is her rich laughter and wonderful sense of humor! Her ability to find what was funny - even about her cancer battle was typical of her attitudes toward life and what came along with being human. Thank you Carol for being one heck of a role model in the law, as a friend and as a woman!

We will all miss Carol.
Look forward to the gathering in her honor this spring

Carol got me through my senior year at Montclair High school in California. If it were not for Carol I would not have gotten pass my freshman english classes at Cal Poly, Pomona. She also helped me and my girlfriend stay together, and today Connie and I will be married 39 years in March. It is because of Carol that I will retire from education after 38 years, 29 of those years at Montclair High helping students like Carol helped me. I will miss Carol more than anyone knows. Conne and I...

I am very sad to hear of this. I will always remember her for her faithful support and ongoing counsel to the Multnomah County Court Visitor program during the 17 years I was involved.

Dear John,
I was part of the English Department at Sunset High School when Carol taught there and became very fond of her. Later when she was working in the legal profession we saw her several times by chance and enjoyed visiting with her.
As all who knew her must have been aware, she had a wonderful spirit, great intelligence and courage. I am so terribly sorry to hear of her death and hope that your many good memories will help comfort you.
