Carol Ann Lauzon

I remembered Mrs. Lauzon well. She was my art teacher in middle school in the 1980's.

My family was very poor and I would have been too ashamed to ask for help and would go without essential things. I remembered getting a box of markers from her among other things without ever need to ask and she never said anything that I would take the wrong way. I am sure she helped others as well but people didn't know who got helped because at that age there was such shame of being poor....

Carol was one of the first dealers in my antique mall (Remember When)in Snohomish. She was a great dealer and we shared alot in common - especially our love of cats. Whenever I was visiting in Everett (having moved to North Dakota) I would always stop by her shop - she was lots of fun! I was sorry to hear of her passing - may she rest in peace.

Carol, you wouldn't believe how many folks showed up for your memorial. Miss you forever.
