Carol and I met approximately 33 years ago when our daughters, Jen and Kristin met each other and became friends in 6th grade in 1989. I remember the first time that Carol brought Jen to our home so that she and Kristin could walk together to a middle school event on a Friday evening. We immediately connected and found we had many common interests. We were both elementary teachers and of course our daughters who were the center of our lives.
