Not sure what to say?

My mom, Kay Griggs, was a friend of Carol´s and so enjoyed the get together at Ruggles Beach. Mom passed the beginning of May. Think they also worked together at Lakewood. RIP Carol and Tom

Dear Tom, Ann and Family We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of your dear mother. We hope the happy memories you shared with her brings you solace during this difficult time. Hugs, Dorene and Tim Markel

Whether Carol was your teacher, colleague or friend she was always there for you - to lift you up, calm you down or simply have a conversation. I was blessed to have her in my life.

When I first met Carol was at the ESL class in Lakewood. It was I just moved to Cleveland from Japan. She was always warm and kind. I just loved her English lessons and her personality. Carol, Thank you so much for everything and lots of beautiful memories.

I lived in the US for 4 years from Japan for my husband's job. Carol taught me English for those four years. She taught me a lot more than just English. She is a wonderful teacher. Carol, I will never forget our fun Monday morning lessons. My memories of you are my most precious treasures. Thank you so much. Rest in peace. With much love from far away Japan.

Oh Litzler family, trust your mom departed in her usual assured and pleasant way. My mom always loved sharing the story of her girlfriend pack that started back at St. Clement's - Annie Wolf, Marilyn Doyle and Carol Jerman - and I never would have guessed that is how to spell Jerman! My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

I knew Carol from Lakewood High School. She always had her students progress in mind and I enjoyed working with her. I visited with her a few times in the last few years and enjoyed hearing of all the places she traveled. Rest in peace, Carol.

I taught with Carol at Lakewood High School for many years and remained friends with her after her retirement. She was a special woman.
