I'm sending lots of love and my most heartfelt condolences to Bob and Carol's family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and of the loss of a brilliant scientist and wonderful mentor. I hope there will be much comfort to be found in so many fond memories of Carol's kindness and sense of humor. My deep sympathy for Carol's family and hope that you find comfort in her wonderful legacy. It was my pleasure to work with Carol at CU where she was a role model for many of us women on the faculty as well as the graduate students she supported and inspired. Her commitment to science and to diversity and equity will have a lasting affect on CU and on the national academic colleagues she inspired.
