MCCARTHY, Carol M. (Paduano) Of Walpole formerly of Watertown August 23, 2014, age 71. Beloved wife of Thomas P. McCarthy. Loving mother of Kevin T. McCarthy of Denver, Co., Brian G. McCarthy of Boise, ID, and Thomas C. McCarthy of Huntington Beach, CA. Cherished grandmother of Maeve McCarthy of Boise. Sister of Leonard Paduano of Liverpool, NY, Pamela Henderson of Syracuse, NY, Terry Lugo of Bristol, CT and the late Gerald Paduano. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Carol's Life Celebration in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common St WALPOLE on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and Friday morning from 9am to 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole on Friday @ 10AM. . Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to: National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.

I never met Carol. I have her to thank, though, for bringing Len & Judy (who I knew from NY) to MA to visit and sharing them with me for a bit of time on their visits. I prayed for Carol as I know she along with her family carried heavy burdens in recent years. My condolences for your loss.

Only knew Carol as a colleague and even briefly as a client...but found Carol to be one of the more dedicated and caring professional in home care....she will be sadly missed!

Our Dear Cousin Carol. We have so many wonderful memories of you... but if I could gather them to one thought it is what a tremendous example you always were to all of us younger cousins. We always looked up to you, not because you were older, just because you were YOU!. Your kind and sweet way was always full of love and compassion. Your laughter sincere and contagious. I remember your Nursing School graduation in Buffalo, all of us cousins had a wonderful time sharing in the celebration......
