Carol and I lived across the street from one another on Hampton Avenue. Although we were not in the same class, we often walked to school and church together and almost shared the same birthday, one year and one day apart. She and her brothers were part of several kids on the block who played together and I remember our mothers calling us to come home when it was bedtime. I lived behind Carol/across the alley on Ogden Avenue. We walked to school together, we played together, we fought together, we graduated from Arlington and Libbey High School together. We shared many happy times. She will be missed.

Carol was my neighborhood buddy and we walked to school together and also worked on the Libbey 1950 50th reunion. Her parents and my parents were great friends and shared a lot of good times together. Being in her company was always fun and I am sure she will be sorely missed. Sue Hockett Mann, Rocklin, CA
