Carol Montgomery

Carol was such a glowing light of a person and an amazing teacher. While at THS I took every class she taught 2-3 times just because she was so warm, kind and fun to be around...even stopping in to see her years after graduation. She brought out the absolute best in people, both in art and character.

Carol Montgomery was an outstanding teacher who really inspired me to pursue a love of art I had forgotten. She will be missed.

Sad to hear of Mrs. Montgomery's passing. She was my art teacher in the late 80s. She was more than a teacher, she was a friend and I am very glad to have known her. She was kind and cared about her students. We were all important to her. The impact a teacher has on a student... I wonder if they ever truly know? Thankful that she was a part of my high school years

Carol was such a special person - she was my art teacher at Talawanda ('99) and I spent most of my high school career in her art room. She was a safe haven during a tumultuous time in my time. I have thought fondly and often of her through the years. She truly loved her students and pushed us to be better artist and people. Condolences to her family and rest in peace Carol. God bless.
