Carol Ann Nimick Over

I was in Ms. Nimick (Over)'s Freshman English class in 1978-79 which I think was her first year also at MRHS. She was a great teacher who said she went to Woodstock; hence we played music such as Joni Mitchell in class. It was my first exposure to Shakespeare, Sinclair Lewis, and other great literature. Even though I wasn't a good student then she'd be happy to know I got a BA in Humanities. We are stardust. We are golden. And we've got to get ourselves back to the garden.

I had an incredibly wonderful life altering experience the day Miss Nimick/Mrs. Over brought into class a follower of Ayn Rand. I am forever grateful for the doors she opened to me.

Remembering my cousin, Carol, on her 9th RIP anniversary. Knowing she is in heaven, now with her mother and father and her husband, she is at peace.

My heart goes out to Carol's family, particularly to Caitlin. She spoke to me so often about you, Caitlin. She loved you so much and was so proud of you. I have fond memories of her years teaching with me at Monmouth Regional.
