Our family was devastated to just learn of this tragic news yesterday, August 26th. Carol knew me as a baby more than 50 years ago, and continued to be a part of my life throughout. I had known her more than 50 years. We met her at New Haven. A very thoughtful person. Her birthday was August 13, while mine is August 14. She sent me a card every year, except this year.
