Carol J. Payne

I have great childhood memories of Mrs. Payne looking after large groups of kids swimming, playing basketball and running all around her home on the East side of Indy. She always made us feel welcome, and her cabinets and refrigerator were always stocked with plenty of snacks and drinks. Mrs. Payne was a great friend to my parents and was always so kind to my brother, sister and me. Carol, your selfless ways and beautiful smile will be missed by all. It was fun being one of the Carols in Bunco and joking about it all the time. Mark, We here on Duval share your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful person and we enjoyed her so much and we shared in her woes of this illness. I know you will be comforted knowing her in the millions of memories that you shared with her. She will be missed, but the memories live forever.
