Not sure what to say?

Miss Pritchett was without a doubt my favorite teacher. I still think of her fondly all these years later. She will be greatly missed.

A fine lady. I enjoyed her class at YSJHS. She will be missed.

What a classy lady!! Carol was one of the first teachers to welcome me to YSMS.I will never forget her beautiful smile and friendly ways. She prepared THE BEST French luncheons for her female colleagues. May she rest in peace among the angels because she was one.

My husband and I still speak French on occasion having been inspired by Miss Pritchett in 8th grade at YSJHS. My parents always enjoyed her joie de vivre.

On behalf of French instructors everywhere, I would like to honor her memory!

Carol was a delightful person and a wonderful teacher. I always enjoyed her pleasant demeanor and her enthusiasm for her students and subject. She will be missed by all. Bill Hartman

So sad to hear that we lost such a vibrant and engaged teacher. Miss Pritchett was my French teacher in 7th, 8th, and 12th grade - and what a wonderful teacher she was. Rest in peace.

How can you not smile when you remember Miss Pritchett? Her laugh and her life was shared with so many, even a group she promised (and fulfilled her promise) to take abroad back in 1989. She helped create many memories by sharing her passion and her care with each person she met.

With sadness for losing her, with love for knowing her, and with joy for knowing she is at peace with her Lord! Blessings to all who miss her, Becky

Miss Pritchett

A sonnet, in memory of a wonderful friend and teacher

Her smile was like the sun on autumn days—
a pure, bold light that her blue skies revealed.
Illuminating us, it touched and healed,
and still it's here—a light that always stays.

That smile could light the world in just one gaze—
as if uncovering a golden field.
In this, no brilliance was to be concealed.
No, it burst forth just like a million rays!
