Not sure what to say?

I was so deeply sadden to learn of Carol's passing. We were very good friends at St Joseph Central High School. We had many great times during high school years.
My condolences to her family.

As 20 year old college students, Carol and I would often spend time in each other's dorm rooms philosophizing, way into the night, about life. We ended each session with the same understanding...there is no understanding life. How perceptive we were even then.
Carol had a unique personality, as did the other floor 9 UMIES. She had an interest in psychology and in goodness and humanity, and this too was a commonality of the group.

I was deeply sadden to learn of Carol's passing. I worked with Carol at Mt. Tom and I enjoyed her ability to support the individuals whom she supported in her unique, straightforward way. She will be missed.

My condolences to Carol's family. It saddens me so that Carol will not be with her U Mass friends as we have our reunions ever so often. Carol always looked forward to getting together and never missed our gatherings. She was a fighter, quiet but expressed herself when necessary. I still cannot believe that a month ago she met us in Amherst for lunch and actually drove herself. She will always be in our hearts, never forgotten but only missed as we loved her so.

Carol loved life and experiencing the simple pleasures. When she came out to dinner and a visit with some of us UMASS former dorm friends, she showed remarkable stamina for reaching out to us in a personal, friendly way, despite her uncooperative muscles and bones.
And even though she had been handed some down times, when we saw her she was always engaged, holding a spark of will and fortitude within.
She has been a friend and I'll remember her fondly, for each soul with whom...
