Not sure what to say?

I met Carol once many years ago and had a conversation with her. I knew she was known in her field but at the time I had no idea how seminal her contributions were. She was a poster child for humility. She radiated kindness and inner peace. I have met numerous patients and Colleagues who admired and simply loved her. She has made an indelible major positive mark in this world. I had occasions to give my sympathy to David, her husband and my Colleague -likewise a major contributor to...

My Son Jacob Flanders was a patient of Dr Richman and she will be missed so much. She kept my Son alive and gave him hope. We are thankful we were able to meet such a caring and wonderful woman.

I worked for Dr. Richman at UC Davis for 15 years as an RN in her BMT section. The love she showed to her staff and many patients was incredible. Many are alive today due to her skill and caring. May God bless Carol and her memory. She will be greatly missed.

Dr. Richman was an amazing woman, doctor and friend. She saved my life starting in 2013 when I was flown back to Sacramento after getting sick while working in Africa. Once diagnosed with ALL, Dr. Richman took on my care and never gave up on me. I sit here today writing about this wonderful woman on my 9 year anniversary of being in remission from ALL. GOD blessed me with an angel and I will never forget you.

I´m so sorry to hear of Dr. Richman´s passing. I worked with her on the stem cell transplant committee for many years. She was a kind, loving, generous woman. She impacted my life in positive ways, as I´m sure she did many others

This doctor saved my life through her contributions to hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Her blessings are living beyond her time on earth. Thank you Dr. Richman though I never knew you personally.

Please allow me to offer my condolences. Though I do not know Dr. Richman her studies and observations in the field of BMT helped to save my life - I am a 15 year survivor of an allogenic transplant. She must have been a wonderful person to have known - May she Rest In Peace.
